Ident and Reel about the music born on the streets.

The project
Lapa pela Lapa is a cultural event that gives the stage to street singers. More than a festival, it is a cultural occupation movement in Lapa, the heart of Rio’s bohemian life, where the sidewalks become stages and the city’s history is sung in many voices.
The Reel starts from that context to show where this sound comes from: the hillside alleys, the city and the seaside. It moves through samba that never loses its swing, funk that unsettles, rap that denounces, trap that reflects dreams and afrobeat arriving from the mother continent. Because urban music is more than sound: it is roots, history and revolution.
In 2025, the festival debuted the Palco Mousik stage at Circo Voador, and the ident and Reel took this movement to social media. The edit blends concert and street footage with bold typography, keeping the event’s rhythm and identity.
