Promo ident for the film showcase.
The showcase illustration, with the program spread across the forest.
The project
For this ident, I wanted to put the elements of nature at the center of the animation. The forest, the river and the Amazonian characters come to life from the showcase’s illustrations.
It was animated at 12 frames per second to evoke the lightness of nature. The choice comes from a simple idea, “everything in nature has its own time”, and aims to pass a little of that calm on to the viewer.
At this gentle pace, the ident guides viewers through the program: short films, talks, music videos, a creative fair and training sessions.
